I custom drew my deck design. Everything went smooth from Brooke (my sales person), Alfredo (project manager), Junior (crew leader), Eric (VP of productions), tear crew and construction crew. Communication, price and finished product was better than I expected. Thanks to everyone and if I missed anyone sorry.
From the first preliminary meeting through the working out of a contract, from design (and redesign) through the execution and completion of our gorgeous new screened-in porch, we found all the Elite Exterior people to be affable, flexible, and competent.
Our project was not a simple one, our yard being on a serious slope; further, they had to make special allowances and adaptations for our five pets, who range from 9 pounds to 100 pounds (!).
We like it that Elite organizes the work into expert and efficient teams – in our case, one for building the deck, another for the covered porch, and a third for electric.
I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Super great people to work with - we ended up asking for pavers because we didn’t have space for a deck and they delivered. I was impressed with the level of communication from the Elite team and they were all pleasant to work with. We will definitely consider them if we decide to build out further!

Elite Xteriors built a fantastic deck for our home in Wake Forest. From the daily clean up to the finished product everything was done with perfection. The crew was professional, but also friendly. The crew’s team lead, Alfredo was great communicating options as the build was in progress. The sales person Josh was very helpful and the owner, Brian was also extremely helpful with our process. You could not ask for a better team to work on your home. We are so pleased with the outcome
Our deck build from start to finish was excellent. Communication with Brian and the builders was efficient, whenever I had a question or concern they answered right away. They were very patient with my indecisiveness and went out of their way to make sure I got the product I wanted. I highly recommend Elite Exterior for anyone wanting a deck or outdoor space.
Excellent work, far beyond exceeding expectations! Baseline quality of work is so extremely high. You need not worry about things being done with attention to detail. I hope that this company maintains this quality of work as their business grows. We will certainly use them again, and recommend their company to all of our friends.
Elite Xteriors was an excelent choice for my deck resurface. I had 4 other quotes, and they were $18,000 cheaper than any other quote I received. They showed up each morning and worked all day even when the weather was in the 20's. They completed the job in a timely fashion completing a deck of over 700 square feet in 5 days. They even used an engineer's report to complete a reenforcement of the deck for a hot tub. When the deck was done a gentlemen came and ask me if everything was OK. There were a few minor things that needed to be done to complete the job. Elite had someone out the same morning and fixed the few things that needed to be done. Elite Xteriors is a professional business that takes pride in their work, and it showed when my deck was complete.
If anyone is looking to build a deck, resurface, or repair a deck then this company is for you. I would use them again and highly recommend them for the job. Thanks to Elite Xteriors for a job well done.

Excellent work from the sales rep to the admin team to the crew. Well communicated thru the process and efficient workers. The crew wasted no time getting the deck built in two and a half days. I’m very happy with the end result. We will definitely have them come out to help with our other projects.
I love our new porch! The building process was super easy, and I can’t wait to enjoy the space now that the weather is getting warmer.
Elite Xteriors built a very nice 12×20 deck for us using Moisture Shield Meridian. Every thing from start to finish went as expected. The sales person was very patient with all of my questions and made sure I had a good understanding of all details. They even came out a second time to go over all of the final details before I moved ahead with the purchase. Once we agreed to a contract they came out within a week and did a site survey and then within a week of that did a drawing and then a week after that they started demo on site they were in and out within three days. All of the craftsmanship was done very well, very hard workers and attention to detail. All communication between me and the company was professional and timely. Overall, I would recommend this company for dependable and quality work.
All around great experience. They were on time, worked hard, and did a very nice job. Elite is not cheap, but they are worth the money in my opinion. Now our previous ugly wood deck is a distant memory!

I’m so happy with their customer service - attention to detail - thorough and honest evaluation of my project - professionalism, work ethic and knowledge of the entire company and crew - and communication during the whole process.
Mike (salesman) took time to inspect my deck thoroughly - evaluating the condition of all structural parts. This was important as Elite Xteriors does more than just decks – so they would notice and take care of any unforeseen problems - not ignore them as other companies might.
He explained the pros and cons of wood VS composite decking: comparing durability, sustainability, maintenance required, and overall cost. Additionally, he compared the pros and cons of each of the 3 major composite brands for traction when wet, heat resistance in summer, cost, warrantee, customer complaints, warping or fading, etc. We reviewed layout and design options, railing and color choices, quality of materials, construction training for their crews, and updating everything to code.
The estimate was a detailed cost breakdown that held true until the end. Payment options and schedule were presented, so there were no surprises.
I called the composite manufacturer for free color samples – and they said Elite Xteriors was an exceptionally good company, and I would be very happy with them – very reassuring to hear!
Project Manager, Maegan, came over to re-review all the details and measurements, set up materials and dumpster delivery dates, and schedule install dates – keeping to the timeline as promised.
Alfredo Jr was my exceptional crew leader. David and his brothers, Arnold and Jorge, were my exceptional crew. They arrived on time every day, were respectful of my property and cleaned up well daily. I enjoyed watching them work as they were so conscientious – noticing every detail with a good eye for balance – leveling, centering, double checking placement and measurements etc. They obviously enjoy their work and take pride in what they do.
The crew noticed, evaluated, and repaired unexpected wood rot on the window ledger board and backdoor band board. They removed the insufficient flashing and replaced it with proper flashing to prevent the problem from reoccurring. The few Hardie Plank siding boards that needed to be removed were replaced - exactly matching the existing style - and the new seams were caulked. (My sister is an architect. I showed her photos of the damage and repair process. She stopped by my house – totally impressed that they were doing everything so well!)
The crew remembered each concern I mentioned about particulars I still had questions about - and took the time to discuss each one with me before cutting and installing. I really appreciated their patience with me, especially as we went over the railing details and as I rummaged through the extra materials to recycle or save them.
Owners, Eric and Brian, personally checked on my project and did a final walk through when it was completed. Overall, I was totally impressed with everything from start to finish. I look forward to finding a pretty doormat, putting pots of spring flowers on the new deck, and hosting a party!
