This locally owned company was very conscientious and I highly recommend them. I’m so happy with their customer service - attention to detail - thorough and honest evaluation of my project - professionalism, work ethic and knowledge of the entire company and crew - and communication during the whole process.
Mike (salesman) took time to inspect my deck thoroughly - evaluating the condition of all structural parts. This was important as Elite Xteriors does more than just decks – so they would notice and take care of any unforeseen problems - not ignore them as other companies might.
He explained the pros and cons of wood VS composite decking: comparing durability, sustainability, maintenance required, and overall cost. Additionally, he compared the pros and cons of each of the 3 major composite brands for traction when wet, heat resistance in summer, cost, warrantee, customer complaints, warping or fading, etc. We reviewed layout and design options, railing and color choices, quality of materials, construction training for their crews, and updating everything to code.
The estimate was a detailed cost breakdown that held true until the end. Payment options and schedule were presented, so there were no surprises.
I called the composite manufacturer for free color samples – and they said Elite Xteriors was an exceptionally good company, and I would be very happy with them – very reassuring to hear!
Project Manager, Maegan, came over to re-review all the details and measurements, set up materials and dumpster delivery dates, and schedule install dates – keeping to the timeline as promised.
Alfredo Jr was my exceptional crew leader. David and his brothers, Arnold and Jorge, were my exceptional crew. They arrived on time every day, were respectful of my property and cleaned up well daily. I enjoyed watching them work as they were so conscientious – noticing every detail with a good eye for balance – leveling, centering, double checking placement and measurements etc. They obviously enjoy their work and take pride in what they do.
The crew noticed, evaluated, and repaired unexpected wood rot on the window ledger board and backdoor band board. They removed the insufficient flashing and replaced it with proper flashing to prevent the problem from reoccurring. The few Hardie Plank siding boards that needed to be removed were replaced - exactly matching the existing style - and the new seams were caulked. (My sister is an architect. I showed her photos of the damage and repair process. She stopped by my house – totally impressed that they were doing everything so well!)
The crew remembered each concern I mentioned about particulars I still had questions about - and took the time to discuss each one with me before cutting and installing. I really appreciated their patience with me, especially as we went over the railing details and as I rummaged through the extra materials to recycle or save them.
Owners, Eric and Brian, personally checked on my project and did a final walk through when it was completed. Overall, I was totally impressed with everything from start to finish. I look forward to finding a pretty doormat, putting pots of spring flowers on the new deck, and hosting a party!

Amazing work and Amazing Team
Great service, delivered exactly what we wanted.
I normally don’t write reviews, however, Elite Xteriors delivered beyond my expectations. They built a screened in porch deck enclosure and it looks amazing. Eric, Josh, Brian and the rest of their specialized work crews were outstanding to work with and made the experience painless. The entire process was well organized and planned, with many touch points along the way. The quality of workmanship, in my opinion, is top notch and I have a discerning eye. Despite being out of Cary, this project was in Wake Forest and they were always prompt and communicative. Any question or concern that I had were always addressed quickly. Can’t say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend Elite Xteriors to anyone who wants their project done right.

I had a great experience with EliteXteriors. They came and tore down the old deck in a couple of hours. The next day they put in the new deck and had the final walkthrough the following day. They cleaned up everything, and you can’t tell they were here except where they put in the new leggings and footings.
Elite Xteriors did a fabulous job with my home projects. The tore down an old deck, took care of disposing of the old wood, built a deck and added a porch. I also ordered and had a new exterior door installed. Everyone involved - Mike, Maegan, Eric, Brad, CJ, & Caesar - were responsive to my questions and did everything possible to accommodate my requests. All crew members showed up as scheduled (and on time!), were respectful of the property and cleaned up at the end of each work day. I recommend Elite Xteriors

Elite Xteriors is by far the best company that I reached out to build a new deck for me. The customer service was amazing throughout the entire process. Brooke was absolutely amazing during the inital consultation, she was patient and went through all of the options with me. Brian was readily available with any questions that I had and was very respectful throughout the entire process. The building crew was overall very neat and communicated throughout each day of building. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

I selected EliteXteriors after a truly exhaustive vendor/product comparison. Not only of materials, but of cost, reviews, installation vendors, etc. Elite lived up to my expectations of a quality decking result. Their sales rep Mike, Project Manager Maegan, and their decking installation team went well above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Mike worked harder than any sales rep I have done business with. I am truly happy with the result of my deck. My only recommendation for others considering Elite is like working with any vendor to ensure the punch down list is in writing and explained. Overall, this project from begining to end has been exceptional. I would highly recommend EliteXteriors to anyone. I would select them again for my next project. Thank You! Great job! Best. Rick
